Places to ride

Commercial recreation parks Queensland has a number of recreational parks that trail bike riders can access. Kids are allowed to ride their bikes at these parks because they operate on private land. Please read our disclaimer below regarding the provision of information about these sites.

GAP CREEK

A large, well maintained camping area along Gap Creek caters for groups ranging from a single tent to as many tents/camper trailers or caravans as you need. A special area is available for day visitors parking to reduce bike traffic impacts in the camping areas.


The unisex amenities block offers flushing toilet facilities and hot showers. It is planned to be upgraded to separate male and female facilities with more toilets and showers being made available over the coming months.


Existing purpose built bike tracks consist of 3 especially designed tracks for smaller children and smaller bikes, 1 natural terrain MX track for Adults and 1 small MX track for Adults. The kids tracks are located close to camping areas for parents convenience and consist of an under 6 years track an under 10 years track and a bike size limited track for 150cc-4stroke and 85cc-2stroke and less (Adults on these size bike can also use this track). There are bike size limits on all these tracks that must be adhered to. No adults are permitted on the smaller two tracks under any circumstances. Children must be supervised at all times.

For adults and the more adventurous youngsters there are directionally marked trails/enduro loops through the hill country and a couple of purpose built tabletops on the southern end of the property, as well as marked trails and hill climbs in the northern area.


Intermediate Natural Terrain MX track open with large step ups/downs and rythm section, full riding/safety gear must be worn on this track.

Step Up MX is complete and open to bikes 125cc 2 Stroke and 250cc 4 stroke and bigger. The track is located close to the campground is short in length but includes some challanging tabletops and a big step up.


Office hours are 7.30 am - 6 pm Friday to Monday.


Spare parts including tubes, levers, plugs and oils, etc. 2015 Fox Moto Merchandise incl gloves, jerseys and googles can be found in the shop next to the office.


Ice, chips, cold drinks, ice creams, marshmallows and firewood are also available from the shop. There are emergency grocery items for sale. Payments for camping and riding can be made in cash at check in or via internet banking (eftpos available has a 2% surcharge on all transactions).


There is a large variety of wildlife sharing the farm and an early morning bushwalk will often reward you with sightings of several species of wallabies, ducks along the creek, the occasional carpet python, sometimes a goanna or two and a great range of birds sometimes including black cockatoos. Many of these animals can also be seen in the evenings with the added bonus of possums and a hare or two, or perhaps even a platypus? 

ROVER PARK

Rover Park is a family owned tourist park that offers several accommodation options in a beautiful bush setting. Rover Park is located between Casino and Tenterfield in Northern NSW and offers a large range of activities in natural surrounds.


Our 4WD and separate Motor Bike Park have great Camping and Accommodation Options. 4WD, Motorbike and Pushbike enthusiasts are very welcome, childrens quads welcome up to 110 cc. Well behaved dogs on a leash are OK too. We provide river camping, bush camping, caravan and holiday house accommodation.


You can come for the day, or stay as long as you like, either way we guarantee that once you have visited Rover Park you’ll want to come back.

GLEN ECHO DIRT BIKE & CAMPING PARK

Glen Echo Dirt Bike & Camping Park is located at: 1162 Glen Echo Road, Gunalda (45km north west of Gympie).Motorbike activities: Motocross, enduro, mini bikes and recreational trail riding.Other activities: camping, swimming in Lilly Dam.

GLENDON STATION

Glendon Station is 38km west of Warwick on Cunningham Highway.Motorbike acivities: Mini bikes and recreational trail riding.Other activities: Camping, 4WDs, fishing, bushwalking, golf, bird watching, gold panning.

Queensland Moto Park is located at: Goan Road, Coulson, QLD 4310 (Off Beaudesert-Boonah Road)Goan Road is roughly 30kms from Beaudesert and 3kms from the Ipswich-Boonah Road. (Note: Goan Rd was built in August 2011 and as such does not show up on maps such as Google Maps, Whereis and most GPS devices. An approximate location is across from 3010 Beaudesert-Boonah Rd, Coulson).Motorbike activities: Catering for Motocross, Trails/Enduro, Freestyle MX, Pee Wee, Moto Trials and Quads.2 x Full size MX tracks
